Up in the Air at the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta @ Clark Field, Pampanga

Looks like Pampanga has got mommy and baby’s attention all the time! Last Thursday, me and Daddy Az woke up kinda early to catch the bus to Dau Pampanga via Victory Liner. We arrived at the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta late at 11AM – all the balloons have risen to the sky by this time. But then we decided to stay overnight to catch the next morning flight! 🙂

landed safe!

Mommy and Daddy even rode a hot air balloon. It was lot’s of fun and was really memorable. The balloons inflated at 5.45AM and flew up in the air one by one as the sun was rising. There was a giant turtle, Mr. Sun, a giant animal barn, giant beer, and all colorful hot air balloons. Paragliders, parachutes, and fighter jets joined the hot air balloons in the sky.

After all the balloons have left, kids flew their kites that were available for sale at the bazaar. We can imagine how next year we will have our baby boy with us during this event.

We also spent most of the time in the afternoon inside Marquee Mall which is also operated by Ayala Malls. They provided free shuttle to and from the hot air balloon fiesta. It’s a great place to stay at with new stores, comfy cinemas and lots of great food choices. We tried Ikabud restaurant which served Filipino dishes Pampanga style.

I wanted to bring home longanisa or tocino too!

P.S. We are now around 21-22 weeks according to my OB
