When your baby is admitted 2012 edition

Last year I was in the same situation in the same hospital. We’ve been staying in The Medical City for 4 days now and today hopefully, we’ll know what’s causing Ashton’s infection. My baby boy is energetic, feeds well, and as normal as can be. It really bugs us what’s up this time so while waiting, I’m writing this post to occupy my mind. Since Ashton is now 1 year and 7 month , he wants to play more even when he’s on IV (right hand). It can get depressing to see your child too constrained and limited so I make sure to have his favorite toys around and that includes his toy cellphone which beats the most cunning htc reviews.

After 2 days, Ashton is friendlier with his nurses and doctors. Usually, he’d say goodbye to them as soon as they walk in the room – now he welcomes them with a smile plus flying kisses. I can feel how Ashton daydreams about our house, his other toys, and ordinary days outside the hospital. It’s so sad that I think when we get out of here, I’ll disinfect everything in the house and not let Ashton play with other kids (unless I know they’ve taken a bath and are hygienic). Sounds tough but I NEVER want to go through this again and find my son in a hospital bed.
