Luminisce Skin Clinic: Radiance Lift

The clinic I went to calls it Radiance Lift but the procedure is more commonly known as radio frequency (RF).

I first tried having RF done on my face in 2013 (P5,000), I was happy with the results: slimmer and firmer appearance of my face. BUT everyone knows that for the effects to last, you have to put in the work of exercise and eating healthy. Otherwise, facial fat, bloated-ness and skin sagginess will just return. It was also recommended for me to come back to the clinic every 6 months to maintain the results. I didn’t and so I am back to square one, this time I am trying a clinic in Bonifacio Global City called Luminisce. My husband had his warts removed here so the doctor came in recommended.

Radiance lift uses the Pollogen machine. If I am not mistaken this is a newer technology than what was used on me 2 years ago (different clinic).  Unlike my first RF experience, Radiance Lift offered more bang for the buck so to speak and included:

1. Facial cleaning – no extraction

2. Tripolar RF procedure – painless

3. Hydrating masque – gave me a “Korean glow” after

4. Sodium bicarbonate microdermabrasion – manageable discomfort

I don’t want to keep on comparing but in the old clinic I go to, I would just get number 2 for a similar price.

The Pollogen machine/Radiance Lift as it is more advanced have instant visible results. My skin was glowing from the microdermabrasion, appeared and felt more firm right after the procedure. I like pointing my lips left and right just to feel the tightness.

Tip: My skin is sensitive/acne prone and after the procedure had some slight red areas on them. I used the tinted sunblock I wrote about here right after my Radiance Lift and I was good to go.

Here’s my photo just after the Radiance Lift and a change of clothes (happy anniversary to me and my husband)

Since I started working out again and eating healthy, I hope to maintain the results with good habits. Other patients who want better outcomes will get Radiance Lift every two weeks. Not bad especially with the included microdermabrasion and it can count as your regular facial routine.

Note if you want to have a slimmer face, consider dropping sugar from your diet, drinking lots of water, and keeping active 🙂
