Every year, two kiddie networks hold free summer events for kids. Just last week, we spotted Cartoon Network’s ToonFest happening at the SM Mall of Asia. I came from a mommy talk and regret not bringing Ashton with us. Anyone can come in the event venue and join different games.
Luckily, parents like us can join even if our kid was left at home. In above photo, Daddy Az had his photo taken with the United aircraft and in exchange, we got a free paper plane model kit for our little boy.
We super missed Ashton when we saw this Nerf booth.
It was a little hot and humid in the venue but Cartoon Network did a great job providing picnic tables for parents and kids who need to recharge after playing games. There are also free coolers like icecream cones:

Ashton rarely gets chosen to go up on stage for contests, but now he is 5 years old I hope he can join next time:
So next time it is for Ashton, but we are very happy we came home with Jake doll from Adventure time, notebooks, keychains, and now Ashton’s favorite Jake slinky. Just in time for his birthday! 🙂
