Back to School: Nikidom Roller Bag

My 5 year old started his school a week ago, he is now in Kinder 3. We are fortunate that he was accelerated and skipped K2 (money and time saved!). Because of his great work last year, we want to encourage him to have more fun in school and get him excited for his first week.

Ashton is using a brand new & bigger school bag this year where all his big boy books and “baon” (packed lunch) can fit. My niece Anya helped Ashton in decorating it.

This particular bag comes with decorative badges and also stickers. I didn’t know about the Nikidom brand until my older sister came back to the PH and told me about it. My sister is all about kid’s health & proper posture.

So, I did my own research and found this kind of bag being sold in local shopping sites too. I thought I’d blog about it in case other moms are thinking of getting a new school bag.

Ashton chose the labyrinth design but I personally prefer the logomania version:

Unlike the 90’s trolley bags, this one has mega large wheels that don’t make any sound at all. The bag comes with care instructions like how to take out the wheel and put grease/oil on the gears to keep it working properly.

Nikidom Roller Bags costs between Php 5,500-6,550 on Lazada. A little pricey so I made sure to “demo” to Ashton how it should be used correctly.

The free pencil case is a nice bonus.

There’s also an insulated pocket for bottled water inside the bag. Just make sure you are using a reliable water container that won’t spill.

When I was a kid, I always accidentally wet my books & notebooks with my water, juice, or the soup from my baon. I don’t want Ashton to experience the same.

This week we received all Ashton’s books and school materials, and I can say they fit well in his new school bag. Most of the time, we just walk to and from school so having a roller bag is a nice way to let Ashton transport his own things conveniently.

Happy schooling Moms & Babies! 🙂
