Trolls Movie & Halloween Experience at Newport Mall, Resorts World

Ashton and I wanted to make the most out of our weekend and decided to visit Newport Mall. We checked theΒ  Resorts World Manila Facebook Page and found they have a FREE Halloween event for kids that day.

You must present a receipt/proof of purchase to join the Halloween Kid’s Fair so we first ate at Ichiba. It’s our second time here and I ordered my favorite Takoyaki and Ika Fry.

Snack Time at Ichiba

Ichiba is already an attraction for kids and adult alike. The waiters would regularly perform with the giant drum shouting Japanese words that makes you feel like in Japan. The wet market is also a favorite hang out of kids who want to see live giant crabs, fish, and other seafood.

I like hanging out here because I’ve never been to Japan and this place makes me feel like I am.

Trolls Halloween Kid’s Fair

Upon presenting our receipt (from Ichiba), Ashton was already given a huge Halloween loot bag full of goodies. My son enjoyed going around the different booths, especially the arts and crafts station. We missed some of the activities because of our spontaneous trip but we were so happy to see the Trolls!

The line got quiet long with kids and we might be late for the movie so we just watched the mascots as they took photos with other kids. Ashton was also not in costume and it’s okay because we just really want to do something on a Sunday.

Trolls Movie Experience at Newport Cinema

After all the Halloween activities, we relaxed first at the Newport Cinema lounge area. This is one of the reasons why I prefer watching movies here, so relaxed, clean, and family friendly.

Ashton inspected his loot bag from the Halloween event and also found some snacks and drinks to enjoy while watching Trolls. Yehey, no need to buy popcorn πŸ™‚

Inside the cinema, Ashton and I were surprised at the cinema roulette. I’ve heard the radio ads but not yet experience one, Ashton and I enjoyed watching the screen and hoping for our seat number to be called. Someone else won but it was a different experience for me and my son that we enjoyed very much.

Just a short review of the movie, it’s highly recommended! Parents like me will appreciate the musical parts featuring top songs from the past and kids will enjoy all the adventure and storytelling. The movie won’t bore viewers, all of the parts are fun and exciting plus it’s not very long and is just right for an enjoyable family movie experience. Regular showing starts on November 2 so don’t miss this chance to bond with your kids and family in the cinema πŸ™‚

Happy Halloween Mommy & Baby!
