I am now about 8 months into my pregnancy with our first baby boy 🙂 The third trimester is kind to me, at the beginning I found I was getting sleepier again than usual but with some determination, I got over the sleepy spell. I can’t afford to sleep whenever I want to, one, because of the hot weather which is now being ended by some rains (thank God) and two, events that my husband and I need to go to.
It was this week when I noticed my feet has swollen even more, and even when I put them up or lie down – they still look like the chubby feet they are now 🙁 My old pair of shoes actually broke and I had to get a new size 10 flats that my feet could squeeze in. Even my ankles look swollen but people say it is perfectly normal. Much more now that I am near the finish line.
As early as now I am dreading the thought of missing the feeling of the baby inside me. When we can be together every second of every day, when I can feel each kick and movement, and when I can nourish him directly. At night, my stomach’s shape becomes weird, lopsided. Then I can actually see my stomach rising with every kick from our baby 🙂 It is one of the most unforgettable things I have ever seen in my life.

I could say that a part of me is very proud of myself and of my husband because we have arrived this far. Yesterday, I took part in an exhibit where me and my partner stylist Joe’s mannequin was displayed. I am very proud of myself for being able to do it even with a big bulging bouncing tummy 🙂 And the Daddy was there to support our exhibit. Right now, the Daddy is in Boracay to attend to another event. We wish we could go too but we’ll just wait for our pasalubong ^^

The mommies in the due date club that I joined has started giving birth one by one. I am both anxious and excited, I still pray that everything goes well and that I arrive in the hospital on time.
