Best Western Plus Hotel Subic is located at Dewey Ave, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. It is walking distance from tourist attractions like from Harbor Point shopping mall and the famous Subic Baywalk that is lined with family-friendly restaurants and bars. Subic Baywalk is also the perfect spot to view and have a photo taken with the famous Subic Light House.

My husband booked the family room at Best Western Plus. It includes two (2) queen beds, a spacious bathroom, and a balcony for P6,500 inclusive of breakfast.
Everything about the bed is so inviting. Soft pillows, fresh smelling sheets, and a cozy comforter. It was very easy falling asleep especially right after traveling through NLEX & SCTEX to get to Subic.
The main attraction inside the spacious bathroom is the rain fall shower head that can be combined with the regular shower head. Imagine getting a 360 shower experience here.
For bidet lovers, good news because the toilet has a properly working bidet.
If you are on a working holiday, the family room has a quiet spot for the working dad or mom. We liked how this work desk has ample & strategic electric sockets for all our gadgets. The hotel provides FREE wifi too.
Best Western Plus Subic just opened last November, I delighted how everything is so fresh & new from inside and outside our hotel room.
If you’re planning to visit Subic and are considering staying at Best Western Plus, here is the Subic Itinerary we enjoyed during our stay.
Day 1 – Itinerary
After a delicious & rewarding lunch at Spencer’s Fusion Restaurant, we went for a stroll around the hotel. It’s my first time to be on a proper holiday in Subic and I just realized how it feels like a different country. Like being in Hongkong but more affordable. The street is friendly to pedestrians, cars follow traffic rules, the surroundings are clean, and there are lots of new places to go to.
1. Royal Duty Free – the nearest Duty Free store to Best Western Subic, you can shop imported grocery items, bags, and watches here.
2. Harbor Point – Subic’s posh shopping attraction with big name brands like Mango and famous coffee shops like Starbucks, restaurants; minus the traffic.
My husband and I enjoyed coffee at the Starbucks here and appreciated the new sights and relaxing atmosphere.
I wish that I could have strolled in the mall longer especially after seeing a lot of sale signs on top of store shelves.
3. Subic Baywalk – Some of our friends took a stroll to Subic Baywalk, experienced the family restaurants complete with shows, and enjoyed the view of the light house. I hope to do the same next time.
Mommy Lace tip: Use Google Maps, choose “walking” and be guided to your destination. It also helps to ask the hotel staff for directions.
4. Enjoy the best swimming pool in Subic at Best Western Plus – don’t let the day end without visiting the roof deck at the top floor of this hotel where you can appreciate a magnificent view of Subic Bay at night PLUS go for a night swim in the beautiful pool that’s great for both kids & adults.

Day 2 Itinerary
1. Best Western Hotel Breakfast – the Filipino breakfast of beef tapa, fried rice, and sunny side up eggs with freshly brewed coffee is highly recommended. Do enjoy a heavy breakfast and ask the kids to do the same, especially if you are going on a day tour to an attraction like Ocean Adventure.
2. Ocean Adventure – Best Western Plus concierge can arrange personal or family tours to tourist destinations like Ocean Adventure. It can save a mommy like me from arranging tickets and transportation on our own. We were conveniently picked up by a bus going to Ocean Adventure right after our breakfast.
Of all the activities, our top choice is the Dolphin Encounter and the Dolphin Show.
Recommended itinerary at Ocean Adventure (9AM-3PM):
1. Velasquez family show (acrobat show by Pinoy Got Talent winners)
2. Dolphin encounter
3. Dolphin show
4. Sea lion show
5. Lunch
6. Ocean Adventure Aquariums
7. Souvenir shop
I am amazed at how much Subic has to offer, more than what I see on TV or read on blogs. We made the right decision staying at Best Western Plus Hotel because it is conveniently located near the most famous shopping, dining, and ecological attractions. It saved us from riding taxis or hiring shuttles.
