Avoiding Constipation with Oatmeal

It’s challenging to find a variety of healthy breakfasts especially when you want to have complete nutrition for your growing baby. But here is one breakfast that can prevent you from being constipated (constipation that comes with pregnancy) and even help you maintain your weight.

I am talking about oatmeal, one of the first grocery item I had my partner get after seeing a positive. Made of whole grains that sweep your stomach and intestines, it aides in healthy digestion and you’re sure you’ll have a good bowel movement after eating it.

Recently I noticed how my tummy is growing big, then I started having oatmeal again for breakfast and now my tummy does not feel as heavy. I never had constipation and I believe oatmeal also prevents me from getting that painful heartbun.

Aside from the above, oatmeal is loaded with iron and other minerals. Oatmeal is popular in reducing levels of bad cholesterol so hurray for keeping the fats off 🙂

I usually have oatmeal with a piece of fruit but mangoes are the best with oatmeal! Instead of using regular powdered milk, you can use your Anmum or any other maternity milk. Just add hot water and your breakfast is served 🙂
