Baby: Ashton’s First Grocery Shopping

Yesterday was Ashton’s first time to shop at the grocery. I finished all work early to bring him with me, I knew he would be excited to see colorful vegetables, fruits, and all kinds of food! I showed him where I get his diapers, organic fruit juice, and baby food ๐Ÿ™‚

I couldn’t wait to let him try sitting on the grocery cart too. Notice how he holds the cart for support ๐Ÿ™‚

Ashton needs more balance though. I wish to find a portable booster seat, that way I can teach Ashton how to sit in different places.ย  I read how there are different types of booster seats at Shopwiki. Think Wikipedia but for shopping mamas like us. They discuss other items too like what to look for when buying baby walkers and even the pros and cons about baby strollers.

It’s not too late for me to read up on these items so I get efficient ones like my Chicco stroller which until now works just fine. Well, except for the front wheel locks that keep on locking themselves x.x The next item for us to get is a walker, though someone gifted us with Walking Wingsย  and I’ve been telling everyone how it is better to use than traditional walkers.

It feels just like yesterday when we were arguing which stroller to get and now Ashton is filling it up quickly. Imagine, I can already bring him to the grocery! And he can fit in the cart’s child seat too ๐Ÿ™‚ Don’t you get emotional over these milestones and firsts? I can’t imagine how it would be when Ashton has learned to walk. He will always be a little baby boy to me.

If you’re bringing your baby to the grocery (one of my favorite places on earth), don’t forget to lug in a hand sanitizer. You’ll be touching all sorts of items and you don’t want grease nor bacteria to touch your baby. Also, don’t forget to bring a baby blanket and let him wear a bonnet to protect him from the cold sections of the shop.

Happy shopping moms and tubs!
