Home & Living: Just Strolling

It’s the long weekend at last and I hope you’re having a blast! 🙂

Yesterday my mini-family went to “stroll” in Ayala Malls, we had some gift checks waiting to be used as well. So before picking up the essential diapers, Ashton played in Rustan’s playroom for a bit. It was a great place to leave him and his daddy while I headed towards the kitchen section and checked out some baking tools. My pastry brush was destroyed and I am eyeing a rolling pin and some spatulas.

Ashton met his Sesame friends Elmo and Cookie Monster, talk about having free play time inside the mall eh? It’s easy to convince yourself to buy toys your child seems to like but I repeated to myself how much toys Ashton already has. His daddy was having difficulty but good that he did not end up buying anything. You have to note kids like new things the first 10 seconds then just forget about them.

And finally, I treated myself and the rest of the gang to Japanese. Sukiyaki is like my pot of gold and I am always happy when I have it, add to that some Uni Sashimi, California Maki, and Tempura. Nomnomnom. I just had to let myself enjoy these things to celebrate a long restful weekend 🙂

Ashton was so tired he fell asleep at Gelatissimo. Looks like he maxxed out the day too, we wish we could share our weekends with my sister and niece Anya but maybe we”ll try conference call services by Zip conferencing one of these days to get in touch with them.
