Innovative Skin Care Meets Modern Luxury at Luminisce Molito, Alabang

Manila’s boutique skin clinic continues to redefine beauty and is set to expand its reach to the South.

There’s a distinct comfort that comes with walking through the doors of Luminisce Holistic Skin Innovations. The white and beige interiors accented by gold and plush details instantly soothe with luxe coziness, ushering you into a safe haven found in the middle of the bustling city.

Clearly, Luminisce is not your usual doctor’s office. An expert in aesthetic and overall wellness, it’s positioned itself as one of Manila’s most sought-after couture clinics, providing wellness, beauty, and body care through topnotch and innovative skin care services. Founded by London-trained wellness expert, health advocate, and in-demand dermatologist Dr. Kristina Reyes-Bacani, it’s a beauty destination where medical expertise and first-class services are paired with the latest, cutting-edge laser technologies to give you the most indulgent pampering at reasonable costs.

And now, Luminisce is set to expand its beauty reach: Currently serving in Bonifacio Global City and at The Podium in Ortigas, the clinic is opening its third branch in Alabang to cater to clients in the South.

Redefining modern-day beauty

For Dr. Reyes-Bacani, beauty begins with a balance of the skin, body, and mind. “When it comes to beauty, 60% is dependent on your genes and lifestyle, while 40% is aesthetic,” says the internationally-trained doctor, who completed her Diploma in Dermatology and Master of Science in Clinical Dermatology from King’s College and St. John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital in London, respectively. That said, she goes on to stress that it’s not enough to simply focus on physical enhancements.

“At Luminisce, we combine aesthetic treatments with preventive regenerative medicine practices to give you optimum results,” says Dr. Reyes-Bacani, who recently completed her Master of Science in Preventive and Regenerative Medicine at Dresden International University in Germany. This means that apart from targeting your superficial concerns, she’s also qualified to assess and treat the underlying causes of your aesthetic issues, like hormonal problems and stress.

Rooted on this holistic philosophy, she and her team of medical experts zero in on helping Luminisce’s diverse clientele—from skin care-savvy millennials and on-the-go urbanites to men and women dealing with various aesthetic concerns—achieve their skin care and body goals while also nurturing wellness from within. Ultimately, this approach is what sets Luminisce apart: It aims to rekindle your glow from within and bring out the beauty that’s always been in you.

Even better: Each treatment plan is tailored to suit each client’s specific needs. “It’s customized for every patient, and always starts with an in-depth consultation with me or any of our dermatologists,” expounds Dr. Reyes-Bacani, who also specializes in lasers and in Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM). Given her background, she’s able to expertly merge diverse medical services with both natural and alternative therapies to come up with individualized wellness and beauty programs. “We really make sure we’re innovative.”

Of course, technology plays a key role: Anyone who walks into the clinic can very well expect a well-curated list of world-class products and services—from laser treatments and anti-aging programs to skin resurfacing procedures, scar reductions and even body sculpting and lifestyle programs. This beauty menu continues to evolve, too, as Dr. Reyes-Bacani remains on the pursuit of the latest treatments around the globe. This way, her patients are guaranteed to enjoy only the best and latest techniques in the field of non-invasive aesthetic and aesthetic dermatology. “We only use the best machines from abroad, and which are medical-grade and evidence-based.”

Beauty goes South

Last July 2019,  Luminisce Alabang officially opened its doors at the Molito Lifestyle Center, and is now offering the same premium services offered at the BGC and Podium clinics, including Ultherapy, Thermage, and their latest, the Trulift facial, a skin treatment that practices gua sha, an ancient traditional Chinese practice using healing stones.

Dr. Reyes-Bacani is also available for consultations and procedures three times a week: on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, by appointment. “We’re excited to give our signature, high-quality treatments to the people in the South,” she says.
