McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Workshop 2019: Explorer Edition!

Written by: Ashton Coladilla

Get your kids ready because the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Workshop is back, and this year, kids can experience an exciting adventure of fun and learning with the Kiddie Crew Workshop: Explorer Edition!

The workshop starts on April 8, with various workshop schedules you can choose from. The weekday workshop runs for 5 days with each day lasting for 2 hours while the two-day weekend workshop lasts for 3 hours per session.

Mommy Lace Tip: Choose accordingly based on you and your child’s schedule and your child’s attention span. Smaller children might enjoy more with the 2 hours workshop versus the longer 3 hours one.

How to Join the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Workshop this Summer

Just go to any nearby Mcdonald’s and get a Kiddie Crew Workshop registration form. Pay P695 for the weekday workshop and P595 for the weekend workshop.

My McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Experience

The new McDonald’s NextGen at McKinley West had a preview of the workshop that we joined. The workshop started by gathering all the kids and serving them a snack. The host explained what the workshop is all about and what we will do for the day.

During the workshop, I was able to try different jobs at McDonald’s:

  • Taking orders at the counter
  • Order taking and serving orders at the drive through
  • Making a McDonald’s cheeseburger

The registration fee already includes the uniform (shirt and cap), workshop materials, and daily meals. There were also fun games that made me win special prizes like plastic dinosaurs, notepad, and McDo cup holder.

After the workshop, Ronald McDonald dropped by to teach us “The Ronald Dance”.

My Review of the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Experience

I made hamburgers, helped at the drive thru window, became a cashier, met Ronald, got a certificate, made new friends and more. The part that I liked most is making hamburgers because I like hamburgers! My message to kids who want to join is to prepare, wake up early, and have some fun making new friends.

Enroll your kid too in the McDonald’s store nearest you and give them an unforgettable summer experience. I like this activity because I learned how to work, played in the play area, and made new friends. You can learn more about the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Workshop by visiting https://McDoKiddieCrew.com
