Now Open! Toys "R" Us Glorietta 1

Just in time for the Holidays, mommies will rejoice as the new Toys “R” Us opens in Glorietta 1 in Makati. Parents know too well that there always won’t be enough toy stores in the metro. Toy stores are always crowded with kids and brimming with dads and moms in search for the best toys in town. A kid-friendly and comfy place to shop during Christmas will be a tough gem to find!

So this holiday, try your luck in the newest Toys “R” Us store. My son Ashton was one of the first rugrats to set foot! He is trying to take home the Tomica display.

Upon opening day, the shop was already generous with discounts and freebies for ‘deserving’ toy fans. As an example, we’ve been buying Tomica cars throughout the year. This was Ashton’s first time to get a Tomica car from Toys “R” Us and he was gifted with a very nice cap for being a Tomica fan. Sweet 🙂

One thing admirable about this toy store is variety, if you are familiar with Toys “R” Us in the US, the stock is almost the same. Just check out the US site and most likely, you’ll find the same stuff in TRU Philippines. Ashton and I were actually browsing the online catalog days before the store’s opening. This is by far, the nearest Toys “R” Us store to us.

Ashton was excited to dip it in the water. Robofish is having tech difficulties though and won’t swim. But, no biggie because I’m confident TRU will gladly accept returns and exchanges. They’ve got very accommodating and knowledgeable staff who are not as ‘pushy’.

And for little girls, FurReal Toys are great cuddly gifts. Even Ashton wanted this pony.
