Stop Worrying and Start Planning with Philam Life’s AIA AIO Plan

Do you feel worried and anxious about death more than usual? You’re not alone. It is hard to open up but one day I decided to talk to my friends and my sister about why we all feel increasingly anxious these days. Feeling uneasy, restless, and worried 24/7 – these bad feelings are stopping us from enjoying time with our loved ones and being in the moment.

It seems, 2020 has served us more than enough reasons to be fearful. Mortality is like staring us in the face with the pandemic, disasters, accidents, and news about people getting ill with the virus or other medical conditions. It is not as if we are afraid to die, as a Christian I know what happens when we depart from earth. Many of my family and friends are not afraid to die either. What really worries us are those whom we will leave behind.

Will our children be okay? How about the dreams that we helped them imagine? As a mother of a 10-year-old child, it is hard to imagine who can nurture my son like I do, who can understand him like I do, and who can love him as much as I do. When he enters his teenage years, who can be there for him patiently to guide him in understanding himself?

Instead of letting fear get to our veins and control our lives, one way to overcome it is by facing it head-on. Preparing for the unexpected may not be easy but it will be worth it. This year highlighted the importance of parenting to me. I take every opportunity to bond with my child while pouring out to him all the life lessons that I want him to live by. I don’t let a day pass without teaching him about our faith, values, and financial independence (saving & investing). Every day I fill his heart with love until it overflows. There’s a saying: live every day as if it were your last. It may sound tragic but in doing so, we will worry less and have no regrets about things we wish we said or did.

Are you worried about your family’s finances and your child’s future?

When it comes to financial security, the solution is not that hard. Life insurance products can ensure our family’s financial future even when we are no longer around. With life insurance, your family can receive benefits that can be used for things like your child’s education, mortgage payments, and other financial obligations that can be impacted by death.

Knowing that the most important people in our lives will forever feel our love and care even when we are no longer around is priceless. I was introduced to the concept of life insurance at a young age, as early as elementary. My mother is a single parent and an accountant. She allowed me to stay in her office while she discussed insurance policies with her Philam Life agent. Ever since, it has been my goal to be like her: a financially literate and independent woman who thinks beyond the present. Isn’t it amazing that we can still make an impact on the future of our family beyond this lifetime?  If you are thinking of a life insurance plan, let me share with you about AIA Philam Life’s product called AIA All-in-One plan.
