Epic Dining by Visa Experience in Hide Yamamoto

Hide Yamamoto Restaurant in the City of Dreams is one of those secret dating and fine dining place my husband and I have been longing to experience. Given it’s location, this is one of the higher-end restaurants in the metro.

Last Friday, my husband and I took advantage of Visa’s “Epic dining by Visa” promo which is a discount program for all Visa cardholders. Hide Yamamoto is included in the list of participating restaurants – 15% off on total food bill.

Star Chef Hide Yamamoto himself was there to showcase his culinary skills.

The Japanese restaurant has three stations – sushi, teppanyaki, and robatayaki station. Robatayaki means “fire-side cooking” which is similar to a barbecue/grill station.

We like the modern Japanese look of this restaurant in general. The soft lighting is really perfect for intimate dining moments.

For dessert, I enjoyed not one but two slices of their signature Matcha Cake which came with a speck of gold – wow.  It was that nice to eat I forgot about my diet.

Hide Yamamoto was an epic luxury dining experience. I find the menu prices high but we have to consider it’s location and how this same restaurant functions under a world-renowned star chef. Fortunately, we can experience this level of dining for a fraction of the price using our Visa credit cards (note: only until 16 June 2016).

I am excited to try other restaurants included in the Epic Dining by Visa discount program. Some of my picks: Barcino, Melo’s, and Brotzeit. Check out the complete list at Visa Philippines Website.

Thanks for reading and happy eating Mommies!
