Happy Father’s Day!

Happy father’s day to all hardworking dads out there, and that includes my dear husband. I am very thankful my child has a father and I delight watching their relationship grow. Sometimes, my husband becomes a father to me and our son at the same time – I am lying when I say I don’t enjoy it when he acts like a father to me. I did not have a father growing up but realize I have the best Dad in heaven and a husband to protect us, provide for us, and most of all make us laugh. You have no idea how funny a dad my husband can be.

Here’s our gift to the Champ of the house!

God channels his blessings to our fathers – the man of the house. So I thank God for making my husband an instrument for his blessings to me and my son. Our fathers may not be perfect no one is, but father’s day is a good time to practice looking at the bright side, appreciating the good, and surrendering to our Father in heaven. We cannot choose our parents as if we can run background checks at easybackgrounds.com, but believe that they are “the best parents for you” who will shape your character and that will lead you to discover your true destiny.

I believe my husband is the best father my son could have and wish him more faith, health, strength, and patience (especially for me and Ashton when we’re both naughty).
