Home and Living: Date Night at XO Kitchen

It’s been several months since I was able to eat out with my husband alone. Good because that means less dining out (and more ME time) but we know that marriage also requires time. So before we headed out to an event in Makati, we sat down at the XO kitchen in Jupiter st.

Azrael planned to take me here previously but I thought food was not impressive after reading a review. I was wrong. First to love is the prices and secondly, the food choices. Their menu includes mantau bread which I’ve been searching for ever since my sister Joni, Anya and I tasted it first at Golden Gate restaurant.

Here is what we had: Pata Tim, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Prawn Noodle Soup, and Mantau Bread with Condensed Milk.

I felt I was dining in HK, coupled with XO kitchen’s Chinese background music. Azrael fed me with the latest Internet gossip too and we also planned what to do for our first year anniversary.  What I really want is a relaxing and delicious time like this.

Please take me back to XO kitchen once more! Or, do you have any restaurant recommendations? Drop them by the comments section below.
