Jollibee’s First National Jolly Kids Day

The country’s leading fast-food chain, Jollibee recently treated thousands of kids to an exciting National Jolly Kids Day in celebration of Children’s Month. We were one of the families who spent our Sunday with Jollibee and it was 100% worth it!

SMX Convention Center in Pasay City transformed into a full-scale Jollitown Theme Park. The Jollitown Theme Park featured inflatable playgrounds, interactive booths, and a Jollitown Express that offered a panoramic view of all the amazing sights that Jollibee has prepared for them.

At the event, kids enjoyed playing with their newfound friends inside the Jollibee House, a colorful inflatable house brimming with exciting features. They also played hide-and-seek with Twirlie at the Twirling Maze, going through a series of fun and exciting twists and turns.

Ashton’s favorite Jolly play stations were the Jolly Kiddie Kart and the Twirling Maze. Parents like me really appreciated these activities. They got our children off their tablets and mobile phones, plus the ones at indoor playgrounds aren’t as big as these! I wish National Jolly Kids Day will happen more often, if not every year.

My son feeling adventurous at the inflatable wall climb. This is so much more exciting than mobile games!

Jolly Kids had an amazing time at the Ding Dang Dong booth where they jumped as high as they can to stick themselves onto a velcro wall. They also had fun playing at the giant inflatable Rainbow Slide, where they bonded and glided with Hetty and their playmates at the Jollitown’s most colorful park. The lines and wait time at the park were very short, the huge halls and activities were more than enough for families to enjoy all the attractions comfortably.

My favorite part was riding the Jolly choo choo train with my son. It’s a memory I’ll never forget and I hope he feels the same.

Jollibee’s short musical could not be more timely and relevant. The story was about a boy who was addicted to online games. Ultimately, he was sucked into the virtual world but Jollibee and friends helped him to get out. I can see moms nodding in agreement. Thank you Jollibee for giving us a hand at parenting in the digital age!

Everyone was able to meet and greet  Jollibee and Friends, and pose for a FREE photo with them. It was a nice opportunity to have a proper family picture taken.  Jollibee even provided FREE photo printing. I’m telling you, even I am surprised at how perfect the first National Jolly Kids Day was.

All of the kids got to take home exciting giveaways and prizes. Automatically, they get a free box of Jolly Kiddie Meal toys just for visiting the activity stations.

Jolly Kids Ambassador, Scarlet Snow Belo, also made a special appearance at the event to play and interact with her fellow Jolly Kids. Scarlet sang and danced together with Jollibee and her newfound friends, encouraging them to experience the countless jolly moments one can only experience with Jollibee.

Jollibee Senior Marketing Manager & Head for Channels and Kids Marketing Charisse Sumulong shares that, “When we think about how many Filipino families spend quality bonding time in Jollibee, we came up with an idea to have an annual celebration for our Jolly Kids. This Children’s Month, we have the National Jolly Kids Day event to provide a venue for families to experience more joy-filled moments with their kids, and at the same time our Jolly Kids get to make new friends in a fun environment.”

Of course, our Jolly Kids Day won’t be complete without enjoying our favorite pair – Jollibee Chickenjoy and Jolly Spaghetti!
