Are your kids excited to watch Kung Fu Panda 3? Kung Fu Panda is one of those top movies that is easily understood by kids, including my son Ashton. He can sit through and enjoy the entire movie without getting bored – I guess it really is because of the action-packed theme and relatable characters of Po, Tigress, Mantis, Monkey, Viper, and Crane.
Kung Fu Panda 3 Happy Meal Toys
Ashton has been doing well in school and so we agreed we should create a Kung Fu Panda weekend for him. Kung Fu Panda 3 is available in 3D so we all went to Makati via bus. This in itself was a top adventure for Ashton, including walking on foot to Greenbelt area.
We got Po’s Kick of Justice Happy Meal toy!
Our first stop was McDonald’s in Greenbelt 3. Our agenda was to eat early lunch for the 11.30am showing but more importantly for Ashton, get a Kung Fu Panda 3 Happy Meal!
There are 8 toys to collect, of course the most in-demand will be toy number 1 which is Po as the Spirit Warrior. I will leave the details on what and why he is holding a golden staff to avoid spoilers. This is how it looks like:

We wanted to get both (2 Kung Fu Panda Happy Meal toys), so for lunch we bought the 1 piece Chicken Mcdo Happy Meal and for Ashton’s movie snack – the 4 pc. Chicken Nugget Mcdo Happy Meal.
Mommy Lace Happy Meal tip: If you don’t want to end up with too much french fries on your quest to complete the Kung Fu Panda 3 Happy Meal toys, do take McDonald’s new corn option. Ask for your fries to be replaced with McDonald’s corn cup.
We tried it for the first time while watching Kung Fu Panda 3. It’s sweet corn with a hint of buttery flavor that both you and your kids will enjoy. Spoon is included in your Happy Meal box 🙂
Mommy Lace movie tip: Ask for a booster seat so your child can comfortably watch the movie at the right level (see photo above).
Ashton’s favorite among the 8 toys is number 1. If you’re starting to collect – do get this toy first. Po holds a golden staff and when you press the button, the staff rotates in action.
If you connect one happy meal toy to another, side-by-side, the characters will do their signature move simultaneously with a push of a button. It reminds me of a puppet theater but this time, with the kids’ favorite Kung Fu Panda 3 characters.
We made the right decision visiting McDonald’s first and grabbing the Happy Meal toys. Right after the movie, Ashton enjoyed the toys and appreciated them even more based on the story 🙂
