Toy Airplane: Aero Force Glider Review

We got this toy airplane called Aero Force Glider by Basic Concepts. It is similar to Air Hogs, the Aero Force Glider do not require batteries to fly. It’s my first time to fly a toy airplane glider, watch us unbox Aero Force and fly it outdoors.

Toy Airplane Unboxing: Aero Force Glider

I’m from the Philippines and this video is in Filipino, so let me translate how to fly the Aero Force Glider based on a Mommy blogger’s experience:

1. Attach rubber band to the launcher
2. Position the toy airplane with its tail near your body
3. Hook the launcher’s rubber band at the bottom of the Aero Force Glider’s nose
4. Hold the toy airplane by the tail, stretch it out so the launcher rubber band is also stretched. Make sure you are holding the launcher upright.
5. Release upwards and keep an eye on your glider.

Aero Force Glider Review

My son and I like how simple this toy airplane is and unlike popular toys, the Aero Force do not require batteries. The instructions included can be improved (especially for adults like me who are not used playing with gliders). I had to infer what the photos were saying, we luckily got it on the first try. We hope the video above saves you time from trial and error.

You will need a LOT of space to play with this toy. We enjoyed it the most outdoors where there are no trees or any obstructions (lamp posts, structures like houses, or cars). This toy airplane can really glide far given good weather conditions, it was windy when we played with it.

Make sure to keep an eye on where the Aero Force glider lands. On our first try, it landed on plants and it was tricky to find amongst leaves, branches as the toy airplane easily blends with the colors of nature.

Ashton and I are happy and amazed every time we play with this simple yet “soaring” toy. Good exercise picking up the toy airplane too!

Storage

If you read the instructions, the box comes with two extra rubber bands that you can secure the Aero Force Glider with together with it’s plastic packaging. This helps protect your toy airplane from being bent (like sat on by other kids & adults) and from other damages.

Top toy tip: I found it best to bring the packaging with us when playing and putting it in a small shopping/canvas bag. Yes this is how much we love this toy and I do hope we don’t lose the launcher or the rubber band, otherwise it can’t soar as high but there is an option to just throw the Aero Force Glider by hand and it can still fly well.

What do you think? Happy playtime Mommy & baby!
