Kangaroo Mom

There’s not much choice but for moms to become proactive in working, even on weekends. But every time I do I feel upset for not playing with Ashton instead. Then I would think of all the things needed around the house, bills, and Ashton’s future. There is one solution to this and that is to become a kangaroo mom.

For the first time Ashton made a visit to my shop where I hurriedly went over receipts and orders. After an hour we drove to the grocer and surprisingly, Ashton threw a very bad tantrum and would not stop wailing aisle after aisle. I am sure I forgot so many items on my list and for a minute dreamt of marrying a billionaire from dating sites, as if I have time – no. So I pushed the shopping cart as fast as I could, grabbed diapers, coffee, and lots of comfort food for stressful moments like this.

Literally, I felt like a Kangaroo jumping from one place to the next. Though it was exhausting, I preferred it rather than having my little joey out of my sight – on a Saturday when some lucky moms are out on a picnic.
