Working Mom: 4 Adventures to Bust Stress

What free time? I know what you mean, moms never have free time but it’s just a matter of perspective. Usually, moms are afraid to delegate and want to do everything on their own. In the end, their health and psyche suffer. So stop complaining and plan your next adventure, can you remember your last one? Mine was riding a hot air balloon while pregnant! 🙂

Here are some ideas on how to shake it up a bit and bring back the adventurous you:

1. Diving – almost every beach near or far that offers a boat ride would usually offer snorkeling at least. It’s an adventure many cannot find time or plan to enjoy. If you are getting a well deserved me-time then make it a memorable one. I found this 3.1MP goggles which will be perfect to capture your underwater adventure.

2. Zip line, trampoline jump – us moms can get jaded at times, surely you get what I mean and we need to awaken our senses with thrill and feel alive once more. Yeah! The nearest location you can dare yourself at is San Miguel by the Bay Park at MOA. I just saw this on TV and the convenience is perfect for that quick getaway adventure.

3. Horseback riding – can instantly connect us with nature and although it’s not such a daring adventure, it is one enjoyable & relaxing ride. You can find facilities in Tagaytay, Subic, and Baguio to mention some. The nearer, the better.

4. Ice skating – I use to skate every time I get off work but I am no professional, I just do it to clear and literally cool my head. Now as a mom, I think this is a great exercise but best if you have a few companions like your husband or kids 🙂
